This recipe is made for a ½ pint dispenser.
This whipped cream is infused with an orange liqueur for a delicious result. Although any orange liqueur will work, France is known for producing particularly exceptional products. We recommend starting with a triple sec or brandy-based liqueur.
If this is your first time infusing alcohol into a whipped cream, congratulations! It can be stronger than expected, which is why our recipe uses one ounce of liqueur. If you would like a bit more bite, try upping to 1½ or 2 ounces for your next batch. The flavor of the alcohol will mellow with time in the refrigerator. We find that letting it sit for at least an hour will let the flavors integrate well.
A nice final touch is to zest an orange or lemon over the final whipped cream for an extra citrus pop.
This recipe is a wonderful topping for our simple chocolate mousse or nitrous cold brew coffee.
Remember, the key to the best whipped cream is both great, healthy ingredients and XLWhip high quality nitrous oxide.
